Authorities said that storms in the southern United States have killed at least two people and injured two others.
In Texas, the storm killed at least one person, and Mayor Dan Davis of Manuel told ABC television that the storm damaged buildings and schools extensively and caused a power outage.
Governor Tate Reeves announced on the “X” platform that the storm in Mississippi resulted in at least one death and two injuries, and added that officials are assessing the damage.
