According to the Egyptian Ministry of Environmental Protection, a shark attack in the resort town of Marsa Alam has left one tourist dead and another injured.
Reuters reported that authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the tourists involved in the attack.
Marsa Alam, located on the western coast of the Red Sea, is one of Egypt’s newer resort destinations.
