UConn football coach Jim Mora has finalized a new contract extending his tenure through the 2028 season. The agreement includes a salary increase, averaging $2.5 million annually over the duration of the deal, according to ESPN sources.
Jim Mora earned a base salary of $1.81 million in 2024, which will increase to $2.1 million in 2025 under his new contract. The deal follows Mora’s success in revitalizing UConn football during his first three years with the program.
Jim Mora inherited a program that finished 1-11 the year before his arrival and has since led UConn to two bowl games in three years. A victory in the Fenway Bowl today would secure the team’s first nine-win season since 2007.
